Any foreigner who has a Provisional Residence Permit that establishes the right to permanent residence.

Países amigos, Extranjero Profesional, Trabajador ordinario bajo el 10% y 15%, Solvencia económica propia con inmuebles, depósito o Mixta, Extranjeros con hijos panameños, Casado con Nacional, Inversionista calificado.

The residency process can include all dependents in your family group who have applied for Provisional Residency and who were included in the same application.

A path to Panamanian citizenship

Permanent resident status is required in order to subsequently apply for Panamanian citizenship. You must be a permanent resident before you can become a naturalized citizen.

No more immigration paperwork

Permanent Resident status grants you residence without expiration, so you will not have to complete any further renewal procedures. This residence does not expire.

1. Power of attorney (notarized) and application. The power of attorney must contain the name and nationality of the applicant's parents.
2. Three (3) photographs.
3. Duly certified copy of passport (notarized or authenticated as appropriate).
4. Certificate of Criminal Record.
5. Health Certificate.
6. Affidavit of Personal Background Form.
7. In the case of dependents:
   - Letter of responsibility.
   - Proof of kinship.
   - Proof of address .
   - Persons over 18 years of age must present a certificate of single status and certified studies. 8. Other requirements necessary according to the conditions of the Provisional Residence Permit held at the time of application.
