Who can apply?

Exclusively aimed at foreigners who previously benefited from the "Crisol de Razas" and "Regularización Migratoria" programs and who need to renew their temporary permits.

You cannot proceed with the process using an expired passport. It is necessary for the applicant to present a valid passport.

Is the presence of a lawyer mandatory for the renewal of the Permit?

Since the year 2021, the renewals of this Residence Permit must be carried out with the assistance or representation of lawyers.

Should I provide the criminal record from my country?

In addition to the general requirements, you must present the Police Record issued by the DIJ (Panama), accompanied by a Migration Movement. It is not necessary to provide the criminal record from your country of origin.
